Coming from the French experimental electronic music scene, Sébastien Roux has played in Europe and in the United States. He has been invited by several festivals like BEAF (Bellingham, USA), Netmage (Bologna, with Greg Davis), Whynote (Dijon), Présence Electronique (Paris, with Sogar), J’en Rêve (Fondation Cartier Paris), Ososphère (Strasbourg), Net Days (Bruxelles), Santarcangelo (Italy), Musiques Démesurées (Clermont Ferrand)…

Since 2003, He works as a musical assistant at IRCAM. He mainly collaborated with Georges Aperghis (Avis de Tempête, Happy End) and Bruno Mantovani.

His works are released by the nyc based labels « apestaartje », « 12k » and « Carpark » and for the heller project, the « n-rec » et « Optical Sound » labels.

He has a Master’s in Science and Technology (ATIAM).
